Magtek Mini MICR is a single-feed MICR reader with a reliable and durable design. With a small foot print, Mini MICR is ideal for retail and financial applications where fast and accurate MICR reading is required. Mini MICR offers a range of interfaces options, including connectivity to the most popular POS terminals.

Reads MICR characters on checks, deposit, withdrawal slips and other MICR encoded documents

Small footprint with high accuracy and dependability

Optional 3-track MSR (magnetic stripe Reader) for ISO and AAMVA cards.

Interfaces include USB, RS-232 and PC Keyboard Wedge. Other interfaces available

Applications

At the POS, Mini MICR’s reliability and functionality are ideal for check verification and check conversion applications.

At the Teller Window, Mini MICR’s speed and accuracy can significantly reduce transaction time when processing deposits with multiple checks.

Optional 3-Track MSR (Magnetic Stripe Reader)

Reads ISO standard cards and AAMVA driver’s license format.

Each track can be enabled/disabled individually through configuration parameters.

Cards can be swiped in both directions

Ease of Use

The easy drop-and-push movement to feed the check facilitates operator training.

No complicated alignments required to feed the check.

Global Usage

Support of E13B and CMC7 MICR fonts provides global coverage.
